Two supermarket operators have said they will recall scarves sold in recent years because they might be fakes.
Aeon Co., the operator of Jusco supermarkets, said Friday it is recalling a total of 25,000 Burberry scarves sold at Jusco and Mycal stores as some might be fakes.
About 7,000 Burberry lamb's wool scarves for women will be recalled from Jusco stores and 18,000 from Mycal stores. Mycal is operating under Aeon's management support.
Ito-Yokado also said it is recalling Burberry scarves.
The scarves subject to the Aeon recall were sold between 1998 and 2000.
