OSAKA -- Prosecutors on Tuesday arrested the president and two former executives of Nanaboshi Co., a plant maintenance firm that went under last year, for allegedly doctoring the company's books to make the business results look better.
The three are President Takanobu Okawa, 69, former Chairman Shinzo Katsuo, 69, and former Director Shuichi Katsuo, 54, the ex-chairman's nephew.
Investigators from the Osaka District Public Prosecutor's Office also searched the office of a Nanaboshi client in Wakayama Prefecture. The name of this construction and engineering firm was not released.
