Honda Motor Co.'s Fit compact remained the best selling car in Japan for the fourth consecutive month in July, with sales of 23,019, the Japan Automobile Dealers Association said Tuesday.
The top seven were unchanged from June, with cars made by Toyota Motor Corp. filling five of the slots.
Toyota's Corolla retained second place with sales of 20,825, followed by Toyota's Ist compact with sales of 18,464 units and Nissan Motor Co.'s March compact with 17,532 units sold.
