The nation's seasonally adjusted jobless rate stood at 5.4 percent in June, unchanged from the previous month, the Public Management, Home Affairs, Posts and Telecommunications Ministry said Tuesday.
The unemployment rate for men was also unchanged, at 5.5 percent, while that for women dropped 0.1 percentage point from its record high 5.3 percent registered a month earlier, the ministry said in a preliminary report.
The overall June jobless rate is just an inch off the record high 5.5 percent chalked up in December.
