British Foreign Secretary Jack Straw will make a three-day visit to Japan next week for talks with Foreign Minister Yoriko Kawaguchi on regional and global topics of common concern, the Foreign Ministry said Thursday.
Straw is scheduled to arrive Tuesday evening. The next day he will meet with Kawaguchi, give a speech at Keio University and attend a dinner hosted by British Ambassador Stephen Gomersall, the ministry said.
Kawaguchi and Straw will hold a joint news conference following their talks Wednesday afternoon at the ministry's Iikura guesthouse, according to the ministry.
