Guus Hiddink, coach of South Korea's national soccer team, has been invited to a dinner party that Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi will host for President Kim Dae Jung on Monday, a South Korean government source said Sunday.
"As I understand it, coach Hiddink was invited along with Chung Mong Joon and Lee Yun Taek, cochairmen of the Korean World Cup organizing committee," the source said.
"Japan's World Cup organizing committee chairman Sho Nasu and outgoing Japan coach Philippe Troussier also received invitations," he said.
Kim arrived in Japan on Sunday for a three-day visit, during which he will also attend the World Cup final and hold talks with Koizumi.
