OSAKA -- Osaka police said Wednesday they have arrested a man in Ishikawa Prefecture wanted on suspicion of forging public documents to help an acquaintance obtain the assets of a man who has gone missing.
Toshiaki Koshida, 61, of Osaka, was arrested Tuesday after being stopped in Matsuto, Ishikawa Prefecture, while driving a stolen car, police said. His name had been on the wanted list.
Koshida is suspected of illegally transferring ownership of land owned by Zenichiro Kato, 77, of Osaka, to Kato's Chinese wife, Yin Lina, 46, by forging notarized documents, police said.
