Tickets for the Dream Jumbo lottery went on sale nationwide Monday.

Prizes include 40 top prizes worth 200 million yen and 120 second prizes worth 100 million yen. There are 80 prizes worth 50 million yen for combinations one figure off the winning sequence.

Despite a light drizzle, about 400 people staked out a place in line in Tokyo's Ginza district by 8:30 a.m., ready to buy the 300 yen tickets from the Chance Center ticket booth. The booth is popular because it has sold winning tickets in the past.

A 51-year-old man who came all the way from Gunma Prefecture, said he always purchases lottery tickets at the Chance Center.

Tickets will be sold until May 31, and the drawing takes place June 11.
