Moody's Japan K.K., the Japanese branch of U.S. credit-rating agency Moody's Investors Service Inc., said Tuesday that Naoki Yamauchi will become its new representative director. Yamauchi, 41, will take up the post when Thomas Keller, 42, the current representative director, relocates to Moody's Asia-Pacific Ltd., Moody's branch in Hong Kong, within the next few months, a spokesman at Moody's Japan said.
Keller will retain his duties as group managing director for the Asia-Pacific region. Yamauchi graduated from Kyoto University in 1984 and joined Moody's Investors Service in 1992. He has been managing director for structured finance in Japan since 2000 and will retain the responsibilities of that post after becoming representative director.
