Failed Nissan Construction Co. unveiled a plan Thursday committing itself to the repayment of small liabilities of up to 2 million yen.
The plan was revealed at a meeting of creditors convened by the Tokyo-based midsize construction company, participants said.
The two-hour meeting was attended by some 1,200 creditors.
On Saturday, Nissan Construction filed with the Tokyo District Court for protection from creditors under the Corporate Rehabilitation Law. The affiliate of collapsed major retailer Mycal Corp. is expected to win approval from the court within a month at the earliest to launch rehabilitation procedures.
