House Foods Corp. said Tuesday it will promote Akira Oze from vice president to president and chief executive officer, replacing Takashi Kono, who will become an adviser.
The personnel change, decided at a board meeting, will take effect April 1, the nation's largest producer of spices said in a news release.
Oze, 54, became vice president in July 2000.
