Air Nippon, an affiliate carrier of All Nippon Airways, said Tuesday it will launch a code-sharing service with Taiwan's Eva Airways in April in a bid to boost sales.
The two carriers will begin the service April 18, when a second runway opens at Narita airport. They will operate 21 flights a week between Narita and Taipei, Air Nippon officials said.
Air Nippon will handle seven flights a week, while Eva will operate 14, the officials said.
The two companies currently run 12 code-sharing flights between Kansai International Airport and Taipei, as well as those between Fukuoka and Taipei.
