Crown Prince Naruhito returned Monday from the Netherlands where he attended the wedding of Dutch Crown Prince Willem Alexander.
The Dutch prince married Maxima Zorreguieta, his Argentine fiancee, in a church in Amsterdam on Saturday. Prince Naruhito attended the ceremony and a wedding reception afterward.
The Crown Prince, the elder son of Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko, was greeted by Crown Princess Masako upon arrival at the Crown Prince's palace in Tokyo.
Princess Masako, who gave birth to Princess Aiko on Dec. 1, did not accompany her husband to the Netherlands.
