KDDI Corp., the nation's second-largest telecom firm, said Monday it has formed alliances with three regional Chinese telecommunications firms.
The company said it will offer business knowhow and technologies relevant to Internet data communications to Beijing Telecom Corp., Shanghai Telecom Corp. and Guangdong Telecom Corp.
KDDI also aims to expand business for Japanese firms that move into the Chinese market by cooperating with the three firms in China, it said.
