The Security Analysts Association of Japan has unveiled a draft on professional ethical standards that calls for analysts to be banned from investing in securities that they recommend to investors.
The draft also recommends, among other standards on analysts' professional behavior, barring analysts from investing in securities that they provide investors with information on.
The draft also says analysts should be required to declare in their reports if they have invested in the securities that they provide investors with information on.
