The EU-Japan Investment Symposium 2001 will be held Dec. 11 at the Federation of Economic Organizations (Keidanren) building in Tokyo, the Japan External Trade Organization said Monday.
Participants in the one-day international symposium will include business people from Europe and Japan as well as Japanese government officials involved in promoting foreign investment in Japan.
The event is being organized by JETRO, the Delegation of the European Commission in Japan, and the government-affiliated Japan Regional Development Corp.
Heinz Zourek, deputy director general at the European Commission's Directorate-General for Enterprise, and Stewart White, managing director at Vodafone Group PLC of Britain, will deliver keynote speeches at the event, JETRO said.
