Information Services International-Dentsu Ltd. said Tuesday it will form an alliance in the financial solution business with Microsoft Co., the Japanese unit of Microsoft Corp. of the United States.
The tieup, set for Thursday, will use ISID's information management system, currently used by major financial institutions, and Microsoft's server software group.
ISID is an information services joint venture by advertising agency Dentsu Inc. and General Electric Co. of the U.S.
ISID said it is aiming to generate 1 billion yen in revenue to March 31 on the basis of orders won by the company.
The first client under the alliance will be IYBank, a branch-free bank established by Ito-Yokado Co. It plans to start using the service by the end of the year, ISID said.
