Nippon Travel Agency Co. will launch an English-language Web site today offering low-price domestic package tours to non-Japanese travelers.
At the outset, the Web site at nta.co.jp/english/ will offer 12 package tours to Hokkaido, Kanazawa, Ishikawa, Osaka and Okinawa prefectures with prices ranging from 16,100 yen to 85,800 yen.
Customers can reserve package tours online, and they will be asked to settle payments by sending their credit card number by fax, company officials said.
Users can also find a variety of information and tips on traveling in Japan, as well make reservations for hotels and inns, they said.
