Mami Yonemori, a former TV anchorwoman who later formed the trio known as Dora, died of an undisclosed cause earlier this month, acquaintances said Wednesday. She was 34.
Yonemori, whose real name is Mami Suzuki, was found dead at her house in Tokyo by a family member a few days ago, they said.
She joined Nippon Broadcasting System Inc. in 1989 and anchored the entertainment program "Look, Look Konnichiwa." She formed Dora with two other female TV journalists to help promote various events.
Yonemori left the network in 1995 to freelance.
