An aid organization has launched a Web site to provide 24-hour assistance to victims of the terrorist attacks in the United States.
Japan Helpline, a nongovernmental body, is providing information around the clock in Japanese and English for victims and families, as well as a message board for information exchange and locating people at www.jhelp.com
The organization will be sending a team and relief goods to assist on site. Items urgently in need include airline mileage coupons, bottled water, tents and home medical kits. Donated items can be sent to: Operation New York, P.O. Box 65, Azabu Post Office, Tokyo, Japan 106-8691. Donations can also be made at: Postal Account 00160 7 162438.
