A major antiques fair will take place between Friday and June 24 at Pulse Plaza in Kyoto's Fushimi Ward.
The fair is the biggest of its kind in the country. This year's event will feature Japanese glassware made during the Meiji, Taisho and Showa eras. Items ranging from Art Nouveau pieces to Imari ceramics will also be displayed for sale by 250 dealers from all over Japan.
Entrance is free. The fair will be open between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., but will close at 5 p.m. on the last day.
To get to the venue, take the subway or the Kintetsu Line to Takeda Station. A free bus service will be available from the station's West exit.
