The Minoh Association for Global Awareness (MAFGA), based in Minoo, Osaka Prefecture, is holding an English-language seminar by a Jamaican woman between 10 a.m. and noon on June 30 at the organization's offices in Minoo.
Kay Dunkley, an assistant English teacher at Minoh High School, will speak about her country's past, present and future.
Admission is free for members and 500 yen for nonmembers. Reservations are required.
The venue is on the second floor of the Toyokawa branch of Minoo City Office. Take Hankyu buses No. 30 or 59 to the Ninotani bus stop or buses No. 54, 55, 56 or 66 to the Toyokawa Shishomae bus stop from Senri Chuo Station on the subway Midosuji line or Kita Senri Station on the Hankyu Senri Line.
