Fuji Television Network Inc. said Monday that Executive Vice President Koh-ichi Murakami will replace Hisahi Hieda as president.
Murakami, 61, will also become chief operating officer of the television broadcaster.
The 63-year-old Hieda, who assumed the posts of president and chief executive officer in 1988, will become chairman and chief executive officer.
The changes will be formalized at a board meeting after a general shareholders' meeting slated for June 28, the company said.
