Toyoda Automatic Loom Works Ltd. will open a center in Chiba Prefecture later this month to exhibit its products and services.
The manufacturer of forklifts and material-handling items, an affiliate of Toyota Motor Corp., said it will exhibit the company's forklifts and other products at the Toyota Material Handling Customers Center.
The center will also offer consultancy services for its customers' distribution and warehouse installment problems.
At the start of this month, Toyoda Automatic Loom Works launched the Toyota Material Handling Company, an in-house company focusing on its forklift operations with the aim of speeding up services, the firm said.
Last year, Toyoda Automatic Loom Works sold over 140,000 forklifts worldwide, over 24 percent of the global market. It aims to increase its sales volume to 145,500 units, or 26.5 percent of market share, it said.
