Finance Minister Kiichi Miyazawa reiterated Friday that he has no plans to draw up a supplementary budget for fiscal 2001, which starts April 1.
"I am not currently thinking about compiling an extra budget," Miyazawa told a regular news conference.
He made the comment in reference to the government's downgrading the same day of its economic assessment.
