Police investigating the July disappearance of Lucie Blackman found what appear to be parts of a woman's body Friday in a coastal cave in Miura, Kanagawa Prefecture.
Police officials said they are trying to determine if the dismembered parts are those of the missing British bar hostess. Investigators have been searching the area since Monday, suspecting that Blackman's body may have been buried there.
Blackman, 21 at the time of her disappearance, has been missing since July 1 after telling a friend she was going to take a drive along the coast with a customer of the Roppongi bar where she worked.
