Japan Airlines said Tuesday it will resume recruitment of cabin crew for the first time in two years in fiscal 2001, which begins in April.
The move is to meet an expected increase in the number of passengers after spring 2002, when a new runway is to open at Narita airport.
In December 2001, the airline plans to hire 100 people in the Tokyo metropolitan area, company officials said. During fiscal 2002, it will hire 200 new graduates in Tokyo and Osaka, they said.
