Investigators suspect an executive of Ohu University in Fukushima Prefecture instructed school officials to destroy papers related to a leaked exam immediately after the incident came to light, police sources said Tuesday.

Meanwhile, university president Kakuitsu Shoji submitted his letter of resignation to the university's board director the same day to take responsibility for the scandal.

Investigators believe the private university in Koriyama, Fukushima Prefecture, systematically concealed evidence relating to Kenji Kusunoki's alleged leaking of the March 2000 National Dentistry Examination.
