Some 90 percent of the government's senior bureaucrats have found postretirement jobs at state affiliates or government-related organizations despite the sluggish economy, a government survey found.
It also revealed that five disgraced police officials, who resigned amid scandals, landed jobs, including those linked to their past careers.
According to the survey, which was released Wednesday, 538 bureaucrats ranked as division chiefs or higher retired between August 1999 and last August. Of those, 485 were rehired within three months of retiring.
