OSAKA -- Police found a businessman in possession of a handgun and five rounds of ammunition at his home Saturday night while investigating a suspicion that he had handcuffed and confined an employee.
Police in Izumi-Otsu, Osaka Prefecture, arrested Daisuke Yamanaka, 35, of Izumi-Otsu, a real estate company operator, on suspicion of violating the Guns and Swords Control Law.
They also suspect that he unlawfully confined one of his company's employees to his mother's home near his home over some business trouble, police sources said.
According to investigators, the handcuffed employee managed to call local police Saturday night and was rescued from Yamanaka's mother's home by police who rushed to the scene.
Then Police found Yamanaka at his home with the handgun and bullets.
