Nissan Motor Co. said Thursday it will set up a new in-house organization to function as a global corporate headquarters.
The organization called Global Nissan (GNX) will be launched on Sept. 25, the automaker said.
GNX will take overall control of the company, and will be also in charge of innovation, corporate and brand identity, capital allocation and global personnel management, among other things, it said.
