The nation's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate stood at 4.7 percent in July, unchanged from June, the Management and Coordination Agency said Tuesday.
While the rate remains high, the number of unemployed people decreased by 120,000 from the year before to 3.07 million, marking the third consecutive month of decline, the agency said.
The unemployment rate hit a postwar high of 4.9 percent in February and March.
