A 17-year-old boy is in a coma after climbing on top of a parked train and accidentally touching a 20,000-volt overhead power line early Saturday at JR Toyama Station, police said.
The high school student suffered burns over his entire body in the accident, which occurred at around 12:20 a.m.
He was with his younger brother at the time of the accident, an elementary school student who was not injured.
