Japan and North Korea have agreed to a long-delayed third round of homecomings by Japanese women who married North Koreans, the two countries said Thursday.

Sixteen women will take part in the tour; they will arrive Sept. 12, leave Sept. 18 and return to Pyongyang the next day via Beijing.

The two sides did not go into further detail, but the Japanese Foreign Ministry said in a statement that it will disclose the women's names and other information after necessary checks are completed.
