U.S. Secretary of State Madeleine Albright came over as flirty and playful while Foreign Minister Yohei Kono played a fumbling magician to the hilt Friday night as dignitaries from ASEAN and its dialogue partners took time out for a cabaret-style dinner party.

Albright, clearly the star of the night, aimed a playful jibe at North Korean Foreign Minister Paek Nam Sun, crooning that she had been swept off her feet by their historic meeting earlier in the day.

"Just had my first handshake with Foreign Minister Paek. Used to think he was a rogue, but here at ARF, he's so in vogue," she serenaded.

For the ASEAN dinner party, Albright exchanged her sunny yellow power-suit for a Broadway-style black tuxedo and top hat, swinging a golf club and prancing around on stage with her delegation to the tune of "Thanks for the Memories."
