Japan's gross domestic product for the October-December quarter showed an annualized contraction of 5.6 percent in real terms, instead of the 5.5 percent contraction announced in March, the Economic Planning Agency said Thursday.
Compared with the July-September quarter, however, the contraction was unchanged from the initial report of a real 1.4 percent.
The slight change in the annualized figure reflects an upward revision in imports data for the October-December period, the agency said.
