WizOffice.com Japan, a business-to-business e-commerce company providing a wide range of services via the Internet, officially opened for business in Japan in May. The firm aims to be a one-stop solution provider enabling small and medium-size companies to streamline and outsource their back-office functions and enhance efficiency.
Adopting the successful business model of its Singapore parent, WizOffice.com Japan will provide Japanese companies with a comprehensive range of business services, products and applications via its Web site (http://www.jp.wizoffice.com/) . It is targeting Japan's 6.5 million registered corporations.
The company has already started three services: WizStationary for office supplies, WizMall as a virtual marketplace and Wizmail, which is a free Web-based e-mail service.
The company is now planning four other services, called WizRecruit for employment, a WizExpress courier service, WizTravel and WizInfo, a news site.
WizOffice.com Japan was established Jan. 4 by Mitsubishi Corp., Hikaru Tsushin, Goodwill Communication, Japan Business Service, Eitai, Asian Securities and WizOffice.com Pte Ltd.
