Japan is now confident that it will win its World Trade Organization legal battle against Canada over an allegedly discriminatory auto tariff policy, with an interim ruling on the case expected as early as next month.
"We cannot imagine losing the case at all," a senior official at the Ministry of International Trade and Industry said on condition of anonymity.
