KOBE -- The Hyogo Investment Support Center held its opening ceremony Monday afternoon at the Kobe International House in central Kobe.
Local dignitaries, including Hyogo Vice Governor Toshizo Ido and members of the Kansai consular corps and foreign business community were on hand for a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The purpose of the center is to attract international businesses to the Kobe-Hyogo region by providing information, offices and support. In addition, center officials said they can provide assistance in obtaining working visas, registering businesses with government agencies and other logistic support.
