OSAKA -- A female university student has filed a complaint with the Osaka District Public Prosecutor's Office alleging that she was sexually harassed by Osaka Gov. "Knock" Yokoyama.

The 21-year-old student, who worked on Yokoyama's gubernatorial election campaign, claims in the complaint filed Friday that the governor repeatedly touched her body.

Yokoyama's side has denied the allegation, saying that "the claim is groundless." Yokoyama is planning to take legal action against the woman.

According to the complaint, Yokoyama allegedly felt the abdomen and breast of the student for about an hour Thursday as they rode in an election-campaign van.
