The Financial Supervisory Agency unveiled an inspection manual Thursday that covers evaluating bank managers on whether they have fulfilled their responsibilities.
It also directs inspectors to examine if representing directors are promoting internal legal compliance through such forums as New Year's addresses and branch manager meetings.
The manual, intended to make FSA inspections more transparent, contains numerous checkpoints regarding legal compliance, and risk management at banks in areas such as loan-loss reserves, trading and fund management.
