Journalists from six Asian countries and the United States will discuss the economic crisis and values of Asian nations during the Asia-Pacific Journalists Meeting in Tokyo next month.
The group's fourth annual meeting, sponsored by the Foreign Press Center Japan, will bring together a total of eight journalists from Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, China and the United States for a discussion Dec. 9 from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
The symposium, titled "Asian Economic Crisis and the 21st Century," will take place at the Japan Foundation Conference Hall on the 20th floor of the Ark Mori Building in the Akasaka district of Minato Ward. Simultaneous Japanese-English interpretation will be provided.
