The Cabinet officially announced Friday that it will invite Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud of Saudi Arabia to Japan from Oct. 21 to 23 to strengthen bilateral relations.
The crown prince, who is also Saudi Arabia's first deputy prime minister, will have an audience with the Emperor and will also hold talks with Prime Minister Keizo Obuchi, according to Foreign Ministry officials. He will be accompanied by Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al-Faisal and his sons, the officials said.
