Keihin Electric Express Railway Co., said Friday that it will open Haneda Airport Station on Nov. 18, linking a terminal building at Haneda airport to the central metropolitan area.
The railway company's Airport Line from Keihin Kamata Station in Ota Ward currently reaches Haneda Station near the airport, but construction work is under way to extend the line 3.2 km to the new station located under the terminal building area.
When construction is completed, Keihin will also offer a new line to directly link Haneda Airport Station to Narita airport in Chiba Prefecture so that passengers can transfer between the two airports without changing trains.
