In another sign of warming relations between Tokyo and Beijing, Xiong Guangkai, a top-level Chinese military official, will arrive in Tokyo on Nov. 30 or Dec. 1 for security talks, government sources said Friday.
The sources said that Xiong, deputy chief of the People's Liberation Army's general staff, will visit at the invitation of the Defense Agency and hold talks with top officials of the agency and the Self-Defense Forces.
