Israel is the primary obstacle to a genuine peace in the Middle East, said Lebanese Prime Minister Rafiq al-Hariri on Tuesday.
Hariri laid the blame for the lack of progress at the feet of Israel's prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, in an interview with The Japan Times as he began a three-day state visit to Japan. "He doesn't believe in the peace process," said Hariri. "He doesn't believe in Oslo. He has a completely different idea for his country."
