The Polish Embassy in Tokyo has called for contributions following massive floods that have ravaged the country's southern and western regions.
The floods have left 40 people dead and inundated some 4,000 sq. km, making them the biggest natural disaster to hit Poland this century. The embassy is accepting contributions at the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi's Nishi Gotanda Branch, account number 3082030, an ordinary account under the name Porando Taishikan Kyuen Bokin Daihyousha Jerzy Pomianowski. To provide non-monetary support, call the embassy at (03) 3280-2881/2882 in Japanese or (03) 3280-2361 in English.
