The newly built National Stadium, completed Nov. 30, was unveiled on Dec. 16 to the press, and later introduced to the general public for the first time at an opening event that featured veteran soccer star Kazuyoshi Miura and Japan’s Rugby World Cup team on Dec. 21, 2019.
