[VIDEO] 18-year olds in Shibuya give their thoughts on the Constitution
Japanese 18 and older will be able to vote in referendums on amending the Constitution in two years’ time if Prime Minister Shinzo Abe’s ruling coalition can secure a majority in the Upper House in this summer’s election. Ahead of the Constitution Day holiday, Japan Times reporter Ayako Mie asked young people in Shibuya about their views, or lack thereof, on Japan’s national charter.
