[VIDEO] Ofudamaki Festival
Every July 14, Yokohama residents gather at Yasaka Shrine in the city's Totsuka Ward to celebrate the Ofudamaki Festival. Local men, dressed in women's kimono and traditional makeup, travel around the neighborhood, stopping periodically to chant and release ofuda (fortunes written on paper strips) into the crowd.
